Background and approach…
I offer anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, person-centered, somatic, cultural relational, creative + art practices, spiritual, and attachment-based therapy. I often work with people who have experienced trauma, aloneness, people who feel things deeeeeply, neurodivergent populations, and people who have learning disabilities. I also work with people in partnerships who seek to better understand themselves and each other.
I believe therapy can be a place to deepen our understanding of ourselves, which can, in turn, offer more choices in day-to-day life moments. I remain curious, compassionate, and non-judgmental about complex emotional experiences. I strive to offer a therapeutic container that is affirming, creative, & individualized.
I’m a white, gender queer, and neurodivergent human currently living on unceded land known today as Eugene, OR.
I came into this field knowing what compounding grief and trauma is like. It is from my story & healing journey that offers the gift of being a therapist. I believe humans have the incredible ability to heal, shapeshift, and find their path again & again.
I grew up in Northern California, and the ocean is my true home. I am a 🦭 selkie at heart, and if it were up to me, I’d spend my days swimming, exploring, and spending time with people who I love in this life. My wife and I live in the city homesteading with our 3 cats & 4 ducks.
